  • We have been running this Dojo, Aikido Yoshinkan Brisbane Dojo, since 1995 and being recognised as one of the top martial arts school by Brisbane people.
  • Master Mori Shihan 8th Dan, a Japanese Sensei, has achieved an extraordinary level of Aikido, teaching experiences of QLD & VIC Police,Tokyo Metropolitan Police, Commands and Special Forces in Australia, Japan and India, and teaching Aikido in USA, Canada, Malta and Poland. He has been sharing his knowledge of highly practical Aikido here in Brisbane for 26 years.
  • Practical Aikido in a traditional Aikido Dojo; highly efficient and effective techniques, break-falls, evasion skills and awareness. 
  • Based on Yoshinkan style Aikido Mori Sensei developed The Practical Aikido; condensed into realistically usable techniques on the streets against all sorts of strikes, punches and kicks.
  • Spirituality: While Aikido training is purely physical, Mori Sensei places a high value on learning respect, gratitude, discipline, propriety and harmony. The class is designed to rediscover oneself and learn how to overcome one’s weakness to improve oneself. 
  • Self-defence & Aikido Introduction four-week Course available every month. Free 1st class or $120 for 8 classes, twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday 6:00-7:00pm!
  • Very suitable for women's self defence.
  • Free 1st class is available on Every Tuesday from 6 pm, no booking, no uniform needed.
  • Classes for adults are Monday-Saturday 6 days a week
  • Children's Classes for 6 to 17 years old, Thursday 4:30-5:30pm and Saturday 10:00-11:00am
