Functional Medicine is a paradigm of care that seeks to discover the root causes of illnesses particularly the chronic types. In this approach, we perform extensive history taking, detailed physical examination and in office assessments with some functional laboratory tests to detect the root cause(s) of the problem. We fix the problem using both the functional medicine and conventional approaches. We give herbs, supplements, medical foods, dietary modification, infusions of nutrients to restore health, slow down degenerative changes and maintain the integrity of your cells.
