Hello, my name is Murray, and I am dedicated to making a positive impact as an Addiction Specialist. Through my professional services, which encompass Specialized Counselling, General Counselling, and Christian Counselling, I strive to provide comprehensive support to individuals seeking assistance. Drawing from my extensive background in addictions, I possess a profound understanding of the subject matter that surpasses conventional knowledge. This depth of understanding stems from my personal journey, as I too have traversed the path of seeking help and undergoing residential rehabilitation to address my own struggles with drug and alcohol addiction, as well as deteriorating mental health during my youth.

With over nine years of professional experience in the Alcohol & Other Drug (AOD) sector, coupled with seven years as a dedicated counsellor, I bring a wealth of expertise to my practice. Moreover, I have had the privilege of residing and working in a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation center for six years, further honing my skills and enriching my perspective on addiction and recovery.

My ultimate passion lies in assisting individuals and their families in navigating the challenging journey of addiction and recovery, fostering connection amidst crisis. In addition to specialized addiction counselling, I also offer generalised counselling services that address a wide range of issues. These include mental health concerns, grief and loss, life transitions, men's issues, work-related and relational stress, as well as family therapy.
