Automata

Automata is a top Sydney restaurant located in Chippendale. Helmed by Head Chef Clayton Wells who brings a movable approach to a frequently changing menu. For lunch, we offer the option between a 3 or 5-course menu, and for dinner a 5 or 7-course menu. Components stem from Clayton’s varied background at some of Australia and Europe’s dining institutions. Menus are formulated with freedom and energy that translates into the dining room, with beverages and pairings beyond wine. The warehouse-style space along Kensington Street includes a mezzanine and communal tables.

Automata offer a regularly changing menu which utilises the best ingredients possible at that particular time with minimal fuss. We offer a 3 or 5 course menu for lunch, and a 5 or 7-course menu for dinner. A small a la carte menu is offered in our bar area on a daily basis.  We cater for most dietary requirements, so please don't hesitate to book.
